Sand roads narrated the journey of three Australian teenagers in their early twenties on a quest for self-discovery: the story of Valerio, Kris and Jamie who, in 2011, break the world record for the number of kilometres travelled on Quad Bike vehicles across three continents. Sand Roads is a coming-of-age novel, an existential challenge of three friends to become adults, the story of a friendship that continues beyond life.
