Clara is 21 years old, lives in Milan with her sister, and studies at university. Before even coming of age, she began posing for independent porn websites because, as she puts it, “it was the fastest way to be seen.” All it took was sending a few photos to be quickly accepted by several American platforms.

Despite a difficult relationship with her parents, who strongly oppose her choices, Clara is now taking things a step further by launching her own independent adult website, Naked Army. Her goal is to turn it into a real business, working with and paying photographers and performers.

Through the creation of the site, the film explores some of the defining traits of a generation raised online: the desire for visibility, the speed at which popularity can be achieved, the young age of those exposing themselves online, and the blurred line between real identity and digital self-invention.
