On Mount Cervati, the highest peak in Campania, Antonio grazes his animals and seems to speak their language. When autumn arrives, like every shepherd, he leads his herd back down to the plains.

But winter brings devastating news that will change his life forever. Because of new regulations imposed by the local authorities, Antonio learns that he will no longer be allowed to bring his animals to Cervati — the “sacred” mountain that has always been his home.
