On Mount Cervati, the highest mountain in Campania, Antonio grazes his animals and seems to speak their language. When autumn comes, like any shepherd, he takes his animals back to the plains. Winter brings bad news that will change his life. Due to new laws imposed by the village, Antonio learns that he can no longer go to Cervati, the “sacred” mountain, with his animals.
