Claudio, a former surgeon, realized that patients are often forgotten after undergoing operations that fail to cure them. In 1997, in Turin, he founded “Luce per la Vita,” a palliative care association that now runs the “Anemos” hospice. Here, Claudio guides patients along spiritual paths that help ease the burden of illness and the weight of impending death.
