Synopsis<\/h2>\n

A ballad set within Milan\u2019s Chinese community. Milan\u2019s Chinatown \u2014 one of the oldest and largest in Europe \u2014 is a complex and tense place, marked in recent years by episodes of violence that have unfolded even in broad daylight.<\/p>\n

Everything begins when an Italian man asks a Chinese woman to marry him, triggering a chain reaction within the community.<\/p>\n

From this intimate gesture, the film opens into a broader reflection on identity, mistrust, and the fragile relationship between China and the West. Through the lens of Milan\u2019s Chinatown, it becomes a universal story about fear, belonging, and the desire for a different future.<\/p>\n

A film born from rare, direct access to the Chinese community, by an Italian director who speaks Chinese.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
